**Job Title: Quality Control Associate**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Quality Control Associate to join our team. The role involves the visual inspection of cables as they come off the line, tagging broken or dysfunctional wires, and utilizing a pallet jack to move materials through the facility. You will also assist in other areas of the manufacturing plant, including palletizing, packing, moving materials, general cleaning, and helping where needed.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct visual inspections of cables as they come off the line.
+ Tag broken or dysfunctional wires.
+ Utilize pallet jack to move materials through the facility.
+ Assist in other areas of the manufacturing plant.
+ Palletize, pack, and move materials.
+ Perform general cleaning and help where needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ General production and quality control experience.
+ Proficiency in inspection and quality inspection.
+ Knowledge of tape measure and measurement tools.
+ Experience with packing, production, calipers, and micrometers.
+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
+ Willingness to work overtime.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Machine operating experience is a plus.

**Work Environment**
Our facility is a fast-paced environment with a newer manufacturing supervisory team. The facility includes an inventory area, shipping department, and manufacturing department, with large and older machinery. The work involves a unique process and requires working in conditions that are hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Steel-toe shoes, long pants, and work-appropriate attire are required. Employees will rotate shifts every 3 months, starting on the night shift (7pm-7am M-F with some Saturdays) and then moving to the day shift (7am-7pm M-F with some Saturdays), working roughly 65 hours per week.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valparaiso, Indiana.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
