Quality Control Chemist
Quality Control Chemist Job Description Perform method development, verification, and validation using advanced analytical instrumentation such as UHPLC (RI, CAD, PDA) and GC (FID, TCD). Adhere to cGMPs, cGLPs, ISO 9001, and all safety regulations as they apply to the Quality Control Lab. Collaborate with internal departments to achieve project and company goals. Ensure projects are handled with high scientific and ethical quality. Ensure the labs are safely and securely operated to protect the personnel, equipment, and site. Perform other duties as assigned. Responsibilities + Develop, verify, and validate methods using advanced analytical instrumentation such as UHPLC (RI, CAD, PDA) and GC (FID, TCD) + Adhere to cGMPs, cGLPs, ISO 9001, and all safety regulations in the Quality Control Lab + Collaborate with internal departments to achieve project and company goals + Ensure projects are conducted with high scientific and ethical standards + Maintain a safe and secure lab environment to protect personnel, equipment, and site + Perform other assigned duties Essential Skills + Proficiency in chromatography techniques, including gas chromatography (GC) and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) + Experience with method development and method validation using HPLC or UPLC and GC (3-4 years) + Minimum 4-5 years of experience in analytical chemistry + Prior training on ISO 9001 and cGMP requirements + Proficient with Empower software + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously + Excellent written and oral communication skills + Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Access) + Experience in deviation and complaint investigations, including root cause analysis and technical writing + Strong organizational skills with attention to detail + Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work independently with minimal supervision INTERESTED CANDIDATES CAN SEND UPDATED RESUMES TO: JGASSER @ ACTALENTSERVICES.COM About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
