Job Title: Quality Control Chemist Job Description We are hiring a Quality Control Chemist to join our team. This role involves collecting and testing samples, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards, and maintaining a clean and organized lab environment. You will support our Solescence brand, known for its award-winning skincare and sunscreen products, and contribute to our rapid growth and expansion. Responsibilities + Collect samples and perform testing on them, including XRF, viscosity, pH, specific gravity, ICP-OES (heavy metals testing), GC, and colorimetry. + Utilize GC daily and ICP-OES three times a week. + Gather and update results (pass/fail, etc.), and communicate results to the supervisor and team members. + Issue and review batch records and labels for production, and verify equipment cleanliness. + Perform in-process testing, testing at least six samples and five in-process samples daily. + Support sampling and preparation for microbial testing and product stability. + Maintain dispersions and powders samples. + Follow cGMP standards. + Maintain a clean and organized lab environment while following safety guidelines and company procedures and policies. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field. + 2 years of experience working in a quality control lab within a manufacturing company. + 2 years of experience with ICP-OES, XRF, and UV-VIS. + Experience with GC, gas chromatography, FTIR, HPLC, viscometer, rheometer, and particle size analyzer.
