Quality Control Chemist

Position Overview:

The Quality Control Chemist will be responsible for conducting analyses of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with established specifications and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our quality assurance processes and in supporting our commitment to product excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using various analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis).Prepare and review laboratory reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines.Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to assays and analytical methods.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs, to facilitate quality standards.Participate in internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data and making recommendations for process enhancements.Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Strong understanding of quality control processes, GMP, and regulatory requirements.Proficiency in various analytical techniques and laboratory instrumentation.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The pay range for this position is $27.06 - $29.77
