Quality Control Clerk
South Central Regional Medical Center
General Function:
This position is accountable for the administrative and non-clinical operations of Emergency services and several internal programs such as Emergency Management and Safety Management Systems. This position requires constant contact with the EMS employees, other departments, and outside agencies by phone, email, and in person.

Job Duties:
+ Performs duties in an independent manner with little or no direct supervision but seeks guidance when appropriate.
+ Primary contact for scheduling nonemergency appointments both wheelchair and stretcher.
+ When scheduling conflicts arise, assist involved parties in rescheduling transport and appointments.
+ Collecting payments for classes and wheelchair transports and processing appropriately.
+ Data entry within Excel and Word on recurring projects and special projects as they arise.

Minimum Qualifications:
+ Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Basic Computer skills.
+ Ability to read, write, and understand verbal and written instructions.
+ Positive Team Attitude.
+ Prefer previous clerk/secretarial experience.

Decision Making :
+ Transport issues, in conjunction with Shift Supervisor or above.
