2nd Shift Quality Control Coordinator
Location: Farmingdale, NJ
Hours: Monday-Friday | 3:30 pm till 2:00 am
Salary Rate: $52-$55k/yr.
2nd Shift Quality Control Coordinator Job Duties: Train mentor and support Quality Control Inspectors on GMP compliance, batch records, reconciliation, and inspection protocols Conduct shift meeting to communicate responsibilities, collect feedback, and address quality-related concerns Foster a collaborative work environment by coaching inspectors to perform their duties effectively and addressing performance issues promptly Oversee inspections of in-process products and finished products during all manufacturing phases Ensure accurate documentation of inspectors, sample logs, and batch records Communicate quality defects and deviations to supervisors and assist with investigations, CAPAs, and customer complaints as needed Promote adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Address findings from internal and external audits by implementing corrective actions when required Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes Assist with root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to mitigate quality risks Identify and address potential hazards, ensuring GMP, and PPE guidelines are consistently met Monitor facility temperatures and report deviations Support Quality Control Supervisor with special projects and additional tasks as needed Ensure readiness for audits by maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date documentation 2nd Shift Quality Control Coordinator Job Requirements: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in quality and Lean tools Must possess excellent data collection and analysis skills Knowledge of quality systems, cGMP environment Prior experience in Quality and/or Manufacturing in a cGMP environment Proficient in MS Office applications Must have strong organizational skills, multitasking, and attention to detail Bilingual is a huge plus!
