Overview
**Position Overview:**
The **Quality Control Engineer 2** is responsible for following the M.C. Dean Quality Control (QC) Program to achieve and verify quality expectations for a durable and reliable installation. The Quality Control Engineer 2 is responsible for performing field inspections to ensure work is in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Document tailored processes across the value stream using ISO, CMMI, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, PMBOK, ITIL and other internationally recognized process frameworks.
+ Collaborates with other members of management to develop new processes and methods in assigned functional areas
+ Creates product quality documentation system by writing and updating quality assurance procedures
+ Understand challenges in the existing AS-IS processes and recommend improvements for process optimization
+ Identify technical and administrative controls and create rules, policies, and procedures for the control implementation.
+ Lead all activities involving quality assurance, compliance, audits, deliverables, and process improvement.
+ Conduct project specific audits to measure the degree of adherence to documented policies and procedures.
+ Prepare product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
+ Develop project scorecard on Quality Assurance and report to project and executive teams on the level of adherence.
+ Work on special process improvement projects to identify root cause and put in place corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
**Education, Experience & Qualifications Required:**
+ 2-4 Years of experience with a Bachelors Science Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, with Industrial/Systems Engineering preferred.
+ Must successfully pass a background check
+ Extensive knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase Quality Control System.
