Quality Control Engineer

Implements testing, sampling and inspection procedures on Pall Equipment, and System to ensure that product, customer’s specifications, and regulatory requirements are met. Investigates functionality and performance problems. Recommends corrective action when appropriate. Review and approve Project Quality QC related documents such as but not limited to: Inspection Test Plans, Inspection Reports, Welding Procedures, Assembly Procedures, Painting Procedures, Re-works Processes etc. Responsible for monitoring all Quality Control activities at the fabricators and/or vendors assemblers.

Role description
Position : Quality Control Engineer
Location : Brazil
Summary of the Role
Review, Approve Quality Plans and / or Inspection and Test Plans based upon the requirements of the specifications and customer orders. Knowledge of ASME codes, all Nondestructive examinations (RT, PT & UT), Should be convergent with SS food grade fabrication and knowledge of ASME - BPE standard Travel to Suppliers to participate in Pre-fabrication meetings or product problem resolution, as required. Travel to Suppliers to perform pre-production meetings, supplier surveillance, final acceptance / test, or resolve Quality issues. Perform inspections, checks; to ensure quality of manufactured goods meet requirements and adherence to company procedures (receiving, in-process, final) Participate in the supplier evaluation process, assessment score card process. Support with Suppliers related product complaint, and investigations. Initiate nonconformance reports (NCR) as required and follow-up as necessary Conduct periodic product complaint handling meetings. Manage and maintain Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA). Should have effective verbal, written, analytical, computer, and group interpersonal skills and the ability to organize and prioritize work Shall ensure that the requirements of the Quality System are being attained in addition to all project’s requirements as defined in the customer contract. Shall resolve technical issues between the suppliers, customer and Pall. Shall ensure all quality requirements are met before releasing the product into the market by Pall Fabricators and/or assemblers.
Qualifications: BE -Mechanical or Process or Industrial
Position Competencies (must haves for the position):
+ BE/DME having experience in QC for about 5-7 years
+ Systems/Vessels Fabrication Experience
+ Knowledge of Food Contact Compliance regulatory requirements
+ Knowledge of ASME code
+ Knowledge of NDT and Welding
+ Oil & Gas and Nuclear requirements (is a plus)
+ Customer complaint and CAPA management
+ International project execution
+ Technical Supplier Audit
+ Professional English Language (Writing and Speaking)
