Primary Duties

+ Conduct sampling of contract Safety Data Sheets (SDS) items to monitor contract performance and document sampling and compile data into the Quality Control Plan (QCP) tracking sheets.
+ Make recommendations for corrective action and actively work with the management team to ensure an acceptable level of quality is maintained.
+ Process Cafeteria Supervisor’s daily evaluation Summary Checklist into Survey monkey.
+ Prepare and process Dining Facilities monthly Safety Report.
+ Keep management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and actions being taken to improve the situation.
Additional Responsibilities
+ Formulate and maintain quality assurance objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals. Interpret quality assurance philosophy to key personnel in organization.
+ Review all data obtained during all quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures.
+ Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.
+ Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.
+ Play an active role on quality management teams within the organization.
+ Design and implement quality assurance training programs for key personnel in conjunction with managers.
+ Investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding quality.
+ Prepare and process monthly Food Handler’s training roster.
+ Prepare and process Quarterly Emergency Drills.
+ Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s )
+ A high school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) required ; college degree preferred.
+ Minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct relation to the work requirements required.
+ Valid NC driver’s license and/or access to reliable transportation to perform work-related travel required. Eligible drivers must have a good motor vehicle record (MVR) required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
+ Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
+ Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
+ Basic ability to operate a computer using Microsoft Office software.
+ Must have knowledge of creating spreadsheets.
+ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
+ Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
