Quality Control Inspector
**Quality Control Inspector III - Santee, CA - First Shift - $25/hr-$33/hr** **Job Description** The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to work closely with all personnel, and exhibit good time management skills. They should possess the ability to be accurate and systematic in approach in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate a variety of CMM machines and inspection tools to ensure quality parts are being fabricated. + Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of inspection equipment (Caliper, Micrometer, Height gauge). + Conduct advanced mechanical checks on the rock. + Work closely with shift managers to maximize workflow. + Ensure final inspection, outsourced, and in-process parts are manufactured to Customer PO and print. + Complete shipping inspection, ensuring all paperwork is completed and customers' Q-Clauses and PO requirements are followed. + Follow inspection procedures for each inspection. + Sign off on each step on the router. + Keep up with calibration log and calibrate employees’ and CIM inspection equipment. + Generate RMA, NCR, and CAR using an ERP system (Fulcrum). **Essential Skills** + High knowledge of GD&T + High knowledge of mechanical inspection and using inspection hand tools + Ability to complete paperwork + Knowledge of calibration + Knowledge of ERP system + Knowledge of RMA, CAR, & NCR + Min 2 years of experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Programming skills in CMM PC-DMIS and/or Calypso software is a plus + Knowledge in reading prints + Aerospace 9100 is highly preferred + Knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, and machining procedures + Basic knowledge of inspection equipment (Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gages) **Why Work Here?** We offer paid holidays, a 401k plan, vacation leave, and sick leave. It requires critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, managing time effectively to maximize workflow, and maintaining selective attention to tasks without distraction. Adherence to company policies and procedures, including AS9100 requirements, is essential. The role involves organizing your own station, maintaining the MRB cabinet, and ensuring the calibration log is up to date. Currently, there are three people in the quality team, and the new hire will help this team as needed. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
