Quality Control Inspector
Job Title: Quality Control Inspector Location: Norristown, PA Type: Contract to hire Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Pay: $20-21/hour Overview: Manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their team. This role will be inspecting incoming raw materials and final products. Responsibilities: + Provide timely and accurate inspection of assigned materials. + Record test results on Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. + Document all non-conforming test results and include notification to QC supervisor and/or QC manager. + Approve reported testing results. + Enter sample data into QC database. + Responsible to communicate to manufacturing personnel the status or disposition of in process, in process or finished goods as required. + Operate and understand all quality testing equipment. + Report and document all incidents. Use CAPA and Root Cause Analysis to determine cause and prevention. + Keep work area organized. + Other duties as assigned by manager. Requirements: + High School Diploma required + 1 year of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment + Strong attention to detail, able to differentiate between acceptable and unacceptable materials according to given standard + Computer competence to include MS Excel + Good organizational and record keeping skills + Ability to work a full day on your feet in a very active environment (this is not a desk job) and lift 50 lbs. to shoulder height. + Must be able to perform activities that include climbing, bending at waist, stooping, and kneeling, crouching, reaching, crawling, handling, feeling, and hearing, talking, and seeing.
