Quality Control Inspector

Our client, a food manufacturing company in San Clemente, CA is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join their team. This role involves monitoring production processes, performing inspections, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, including FDA, USDA, and HACCP. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with the companies specifications.Monitor production lines to ensure proper adherence to quality and safety standards.Document and report inspection results, deviations, and corrective actions using established protocols.Conduct routine audits of production processes to identify potential quality issues and areas for improvement.Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, HACCP, and other relevant food safety regulations.Collaborate with production, sanitation, and warehouse teams to maintain a clean and safe work environment.Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accuracy in measurements and evaluations.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, or a related field preferred.Minimum 1-2 years of experience in quality control or assurance in a food manufacturing environment.Familiarity with HACCP principles, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and quality management systems.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Pay and Shift:
Monday – Friday7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Must be flexible to work OT and Saturdays as needed)$18.00
