As a Quality control Inspector, you will provide support on quality inspection on Wellhead and Xmas tree parts. You will ensure all parts and tools are inspected thoroughly to meets company’s expectation.
As Quality control Inspector, you will be responsible for and should have the Ability to:
Complying with HSE & Quality policy. Effectively participate in HSE and Quality programs and training as assigned.Understand and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures.Identify and use measuring equipment needed to verify requirements.Perform inspections such as visual, dimensional and Inspection of the parts required in Assembly and test area.Verify completeness of all operations and records.Complete and maintain inspection records, inspection logs, calibration.Initiate non-conformance reports on all products, parts, assemblies and subassemblies that are not to requirements.Drive quality culture to the site and project execution team.Collaborate with site quality and manufacturing engineering on RCA, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.Work with Baker Hughes management system databases and systems (BHOS, VDL, Alfresco, Agility etc.)Participate in quality audits, closure of quality concern reports, kaizens or root cause analysis, GB LSS projects etc.May need to program or calibrate inspection equipment.Financial: Identify cost-out opportunities and elevate to lead for review/implementation.Be able to liaison with Baker Hughes’ vendor(s) and in-house QC to achieve project goals and meet KPIs defined by the customer. Demonstrate flexibility in working at vendor location on behalf of Baker Hughes to witness critical activities.Understand project quality and inspection requirements for special customer project(s) and support SPC Qatar QC operational demand.Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have diploma in Mechanical or relevant technical education.Have from 0 to 3 years of experience in Quality inspection of wellhead and Xmas tree equipment.Be detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrate a thorough and logical approach to proactively solving complex problems.Knowledge and exposure to API 6A standard is an added bonus.Work in a way that works for you
