Quality Control Inspector

Our client is looking for experienced Quality Inspectors to join their team in Sterling, VA for a long term opportunity.

Description:

-Perform receipt and evaluation inspections of complex components and assemblies using pre-set inspection plans.

-Perform inspection of aircraft parts and certify the parts under FAA/EASA/TCCA Part 21 specifications before shipping them out to customers using a SAP software.

-Review, analyze, and approve aerospace articles that have been maintained under FAA/EASA/TCCA regulations and/or received special certification processes.

-Issue Discrepancy Reports and Unserviceable Tags on non-conforming material.

-Monitor and follow up of storage conditions on all Spares material.

-Assist in the resolution of customer complaints concerning Proprietary Parts and Supplier quality problems.

Qualifications:

-5 - 7 years of aviation maintenance experience and knowledge of aircraft operations, systems and practices OR 5 - 7 years of manufacturing experience under one of the following: FAA FAR Part 21, EASA Part 21G TCCA Part 21.

-Familiarity with aircraft or aerospace quality control

-Experience reading blueprints and using measuring tools

-A&P license or military maintenance certification (9120) preferred

-Valid passport and driver's license

-Computer skills (SAP software)

-Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00
