Quality Control Inspector
Job Overview:

The role involves inspecting, maintaining, and ensuring the quality of equipment and tools sent for repair or manufacturing. The candidate will work with industry standards, prepare technical documentation, and support machine shop activities while providing leadership and training to junior QC Inspectors.

Responsibilities: Inspect equipment/tools and compare them with cargo manifests. Maintain records of inspection and report discrepancies. Ensure compliance with standards like API, Tenaris, and other specifications. Record inspection, examination, and testing data. Prepare non-conformance reports or certify completed repairs. Conduct inspections at customer facilities as needed. Test and calibrate tools/instruments on a quarterly or semi-annual basis. Produce technical sketches for machine shop tasks based on customer requirements. Provide training and leadership to junior QC Inspectors. Perform similar duties as assigned. Skills: Knowledge of Weatherford quality systems, ISO standards, and API standards. Proficiency in using inspection tools like calipers, micrometers, and similar equipment. Ability to read and comprehend mechanical drawings and manufacturing specifications. Familiarity with machine shop activities and relevant paperwork. Competent in using software for documentation and quality record retention. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy; team player. Qualifications: Education: Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial fields, or equivalent. Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience.
