Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform quality checks on the production floor, ensuring that all products meet our high standards. The role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to stand for long shifts. If you have experience in a manufacturing environment and a commitment to quality, we want to hear from you.

ResponsibilitiesEvaluate samples of incoming materials.Assist with and perform physical tests on plastic pipe and fittings.Inspect plastic pipe and fittings during in-process and finished stages.Use saws to cut test samples.Distribute reports and test results as necessary.Use hand measurement tools including calipers and dial gauges.Perform quality control line checks.Pull samples from the production floor.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Essential SkillsAbility to stand for 12-hour shifts.Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift.6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).Ability to read and understand equipment manuals.Proficiency in English (reading and speaking).Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office.High School diploma, GED, or equivalent Vocational Training/Certification (preferred).At least 1 year of related experience (preferred).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in production, manufacturing environment, inspection, quality control, quality assurance, quality inspection, visual inspection, and testing.Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment includes 12-hour shifts from 11:45pm to 11:45am with the option of a 2-2-3 schedule. Our facility is temperature-controlled with snack rooms available. Employees receive (1) 30-minute lunch break and (2) 15-minute breaks per shift, which are paid. All PPE, including shirts, ear plugs, metatarsal steel-toed boots, hi-vis vests, safety goggles, and gloves, is provided by the company. We are located on a bus line, and several employees walk or carpool to work. For those who drive, parking is available in the main lot.
