Quality Control Inspector
**Overview** **Job Summary Details:** The Field Quality Control Inspector uses working knowledge of quality control techniques and methodology to provide QA audits and security searches of aircraft while on board. Ensure compliance with aviation safety and quality standards. Work with team members on process and procedures. **Starting pay rate $18.50. 2nd shift hours. Must be able to work weekends.** Aviation Quality Assurance Station Auditor is responsible for observing teams while they perform their roles of cleaning aircraft cabins and conducting security searches to identify any gaps in compliance with the customer’s standard operating procedures (SOP) and regulatory search requirements. The successful candidate will also perform on the spot coaching with team members to correct misses and will track and trend results to share with local Station Manager, Audit Manager and other leaders. **What does a Aviation Quality Assurance Station Auditor do?** + Plans and executes operational and quality assurance observations, measuring compliance with airline’s SOP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. + Oversight of the stations Safety Management System (SMS) + Develop and communicate the station safety plan + Responsible for Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) related to station operational performance + Meets or exceeds audit quantity targets. + Reviews documents to ensure compliance with SOP changes. + Identifies and documents audit/observation findings and records in company’s audit tool. Reporting process includes taking photos and detailed written documentation of findings and/or successes. + Conducts “on-the-spot” coaching to correct deficiencies noted during observations. + Performs other related work as assigned by management. + Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with operational leader colleagues, customer and external contacts. + Attends weekly team meetings. **What skills are required to Join the Team?** + Quality Assurance audit or training experience is preferred + Self-starter with ability to work with minimal guidance + Superb customer service and collaboration skills + Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills + Excellent oral and written communications skills required + Must be able to manage multiple priorities + Flexible schedule; some nights and weekends required + Ability to travel occasionally **Language Skills:** + Ability to communicate effectively in the English language + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks + Ability to effectively present information, including in written form, and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public + Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills **Why ABM:** + Healthcare Benefits + PTO Paid Time Off Benefits + Company Matched 401k Options + Employee Discount Program + Employee Assistance Program Work setting: + In-person Experience: + Supervising: 1 year (Preferred) + Auditing: 1 year (Preferred) + airline operations: 2 years (Preferred.
