Quality Control Inspector

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about quality? Join our team as a Quality Control Inspector! In this role, you'll perform inspections, testing, and sampling procedures to ensure our products meet the highest standards. You'll work closely with our manufacturing processes, packaging lines, and incoming materials, ensuring everything is up to par.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe work environment and address any hazards. Inspect and Test: Conduct inspections and final checks on finished goods to ensure they meet specifications. Record Keeping: Document testing and inspection results accurately. Support Investigations: Assist in investigating non-conforming products. Audit Processes: Ensure adherence to SOPs and WIs through process audits. Review Records: Perform daily reviews of in-process and final test device history records and sales orders. Continuous Improvement: Participate in Kaizen events and other initiatives to improve processes. Training: Complete all training requirements timely and maintain accurate records. Attendance: Maintain regular and punctual attendance, and work overtime as necessary.

Physical Demands:

Sit, use hands, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lift/move and carry products weighing up to 40 pounds. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, moderate noise levels, high voltage electronics, and radiation. Ability to work in clean rooms, controlled environments, and dark rooms. Safety shoes with impact and compression protection must be worn in designated areas.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma (H.S./GED) or Associate Degree. Experience: 0-1 years; previous quality assurance or manufacturing experience, especially in an FDA-regulated medical device environment, is beneficial. Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive). Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Capable of working independently and as part of a team. High attention to detail and focus on quality. Proficient with quality control tools (measuring tapes, calipers, micrometers, scales, gauges, microscopes). Ability to read and interpret basic schematics and blueprints. Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GDP (Good Documentation Practices).

The annualized base salary range for this role is $40,200 - $60,300 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
