PCB/PCA Quality Control Inspector
Position Overview:
The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for inspecting Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and Printed Circuit Assemblies (PCAs) using visual, automated, and mechanical tools to ensure they meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform visual inspections of PCBs and PCAs to identify defects such as soldering issues, component misalignment, and surface contamination.Utilize automated inspection tools (e.g., Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems) to detect and document defects.Conduct mechanical inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.Interpret and follow technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address and resolve quality issues.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control inspection, preferably in the electronics manufacturing industry.Proficiency in using visual, automated, and mechanical inspection tools.Must understand PCB and PCA manufacturing processes and quality standards.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC-A-610 is a HUGE plus.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr.
