Quality Control Inspector H-60 (TCN)

The Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program, an AAR business, headquartered in Rockledge, FL, provides global, world-class expeditionary and conventional aviation solutions to the US Department of State Air Wing.

Role Description:

Inspects aircraft and components to ensure product quality in accordance with the requirements of the CAMP, maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and other approved data. Performs Receiving Inspection process of all aircraft parts in accordance with the procedures designated by the WASS Maintenance Manuals.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for executing and assisting in assigned inspection tasks. Performs Required Inspection Item (RII) inspections as outlined by the WASS Maintenance Manuals.Reviews maintenance documents to ensure that all RII items have been marked RII. Audits completed aircraft maintenance documents for compliance with the WASS Maintenance Manuals. Reviews Work Order Tasks for completeness prior to making logbook entries and airworthiness release. Ensures a high standard of quality is maintained at all times with maintenance performed. Provides on the Job Training (OJT) for new or inexperienced personnel. Ensures that all approved and technical data being used is current. Ensure that parts installed have receiving inspection and are tagged appropriately. Ensures calibrated tools used to maintain aircraft have current calibration and are undamaged. Ensures materials with shelf-life are labeled with an expiry date and removes any expired material from service. Will participate in the internal audit process as directed by the Quality Control Manager.Ensure Inspection continuity on any incomplete work. Ensures compliance with weight and balance requirements to include maintenance of equipment lists. Position requires a U.S. Department of State Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT). Perform additional duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED.Valid Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Power Plant License.Minimum six years of experience, of which four must be specialized in supporting an aviation/aerospace program.QCI experience working with the H-60.A thorough working knowledge of TO military specifications is essential. Technical writing and/or editing experience is desired.Position requires a U.S. Department of State Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT)

Preferred:

FAA Inspection Authorization desirable.Previous RII Authority and experience

OCONUS:

Ability to pass physical screeningPassport with 18 months remainingLATAM positions require Level 2 Spanish
