We are looking for a reliable Quality Control Investigator to ensure that all external and internal requirements are met before our product reaches our customers. You will be responsible for inspecting procedures and outputs and identifying mistakes or non-conformity issues. An excellent Quality Control Investigator has eyes like a hawk and solid experience in quality control. The ideal candidate is a reliable and competent professional whose approval will be necessary for the continuation of a business life cycle. The goal is to assure the high quality of our operations and services aiming to the long-term success of our business.

Responsibilities

Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issuesMonitor all operations that affect qualityLead and guide inspectors, technicians and other staffAssure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final outputAppraise customers’ requirements and make sure they are satisfiedReport all malfunctions to production management to ensure immediate actionFacilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality dataReview current standards and policiesKeep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentationEnsure all legal standards are metCommunicate with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections

Skills

Proven experience as a quality control investigator or relevant roleThorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance/control and standardsExcellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methodsGood knowledge of MS Office and databasesOutstanding communication skillsGreat attention to detail and a results driven approachExcellent organizational and leadership abilitiesReliable and Trustworthy

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Minimum High School diploma/GED, additional course work preferred but not required.2+ years previous Quality Assurance/Control experienceMust be able to operate a computer and required software to perform respective job duties as needed.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Must have the ability to work on the plant floor, to include standing if needed and working in a variable temperature environment. 50% of time to be spent on plant floor.
