Quality Control Lab Technician

Our client is seeking a QC Technician to assist with day to day responsibilities in the lab and testing.

Duties and Responsibilities

Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materialsApprove in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the production supervisorApprove all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required testsReturn products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-workDocument and update inspection results by completing reports and logsKeep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs.Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.All duties will be overseen by the Technical Director.

Bench Chemist Duties and Responsibilities

The Quality Control Duties will not be full time every day, therefore you will help the Technical Director with bench work. You will help him make lab batches with R&D and test batches to see if new materials perform or do what they are intended to do.

2+ years in a leadership or managerial position

Excellent computer skills, including MS Office

Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/yr.
