JOB SUMMARY:
The QC Labor role interacts directly with manufacturing and warehouse personnel and is responsible for maintaining a high-quality environment by overseeing and ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures through inspections and monitoring of process controls in all applicable areas of the operation. Effective communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
JOB DETAIL:
• Responsible for on-the-floor support of GMP operations.
• Maintain work areas and perform job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) instructions.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all Quality activities.
• Inspection of incoming products and materials. Verify products and materials meet specification.
• Complete applicable documents needed for the release of products and materials.
• Review and issuance of batch records.
• Label verification, issuance, and reconciliation.
• Oversee production room and line clearances.
• In-process sampling and inspection of finished product.
• Verify finished product reconciliation.
• Review and approve batch records to ensure accuracy and completeness and ensure Good Documentation Practices are followed.
• Prepare and file documents and batch records for Document Control.
• Assist deviation investigations.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Perform all other duties as assigned per supervisor/management.
Qualifications
REQUIRMENTS:
Experience
· 2+ years of direct experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance (Preferred)
· Good knowledge of cGMP manufacturing (Preferred)
· Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Education
· High School education and/or GED equivalent (Preferred)

· Self-motivated with ability to work in a team environment and independently
· Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish, written and verbal (Preferred)
· Must be at least 18 years of age or older
· Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
