Job Description The quality control lab technician will work in the lab performing quality checks and testing on raw materials, in process and finished goods. They will split their time 60% on the plant floor and 40% in the laboratory. This position will be a mix of lab and quality assurance work where they will be closely integrated in operations within the plant. Candidates must be comfortable with working in a manufacturing setting and on their feet. Daily job responsibilities include the following: + Pull samples multiple times a day to bring them back to the lab and perform testing. + Pull quality assurance and regulatory documentation from the manufacturing floor. + Interact with and ensure plant personnel are following procedures such as following GMPs, wearing PPE, and that operators are running correct tests. + Communicate with production personnel to communicate issues/potential issues. + Perform formulation checks such as salt, acid, and pH testing. + Perform routine testing including titrations, mass-volume, sensory testing, and microbial testing. + Responsible for calibration of laboratory instruments. + Use SAP system and Microsoft applications to enter data findings.
