Quality Control Laboratory Technician
Job Title: QC Laboratory TechnicianJob Description

Support the Quality Control Teams goals and initiatives by participating in various testing processes including Sample Preparation, Intermediate Testing, and Final Product Testing. This role requires executing Quality Control (QC) processes associated with production, purchased product, reagent stability program, retention program, controlled storage monitoring, and departmental calibration. Assist in creating or updating QC instructions or SOPs and perform the associated engineering change control. Maintain QC laboratory supplies/internal reagents as well as the integrity and cleanliness of QC work areas.

ResponsibilitiesSupport testing related to Sample Preparation, Intermediate Testing, and Final Product Testing.Execute QC processes associated with production, purchased product, reagent stability program, retention program, controlled storage monitoring, and departmental calibration.Create or update QC instructions or SOPs and perform associated engineering change control.Maintain QC laboratory supplies/internal reagents and ensure the integrity and cleanliness of QC work areas.Participate in and potentially lead QC processes to support new product design transfer, process development, process validations, equipment validations, and the investigation and resolution of product/process issues.Engage in frequent intra-department interaction and frequent inter-department interfaces with Quality Assurance, Reagent Manufacturing, Design Transfer and Process Engineering, Production Planning, Purchasing, and Document Control.Deliver timely and accurate Quality Control testing for bioassay and core consumable products.Complete quality control and manufacturing process documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including related business system transactions.Assist in the planning, sample scheduling, and sample processing of product stability studies.Ensure the cleanliness and integrity of QC laboratory and storage areas.Additional Skills & QualificationsBS or MS in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or Biology5+ years of experience including research3+ years running PCRAbout Actalent
