Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory Technician

Job Description

Our client is currently looking to hire a temporary Quality Control Technician for their team. This is a challenging chemistry-based position in a large chemical processing facility.

ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate proficiency with standard chemical lab equipment and instrumentation.Utilize specialized laboratory instrumentation platforms such as Thermogravimetric analysis (Differential Scanning Calorimetry), Capillary Indexers, Assay, HPLC, GC, and pH measurement.Conduct chemical analysis and quality control procedures.Perform wet chemistry techniques.Maintain and operate Gas Chromatography (GC) and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) equipment.Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) documentation.Report test results on a batch sheet and input data into the LIMS System.Troubleshoot and resolve laboratory issues as they arise.Essential SkillsBS degree in Chemistry or related science with prior chemical or Biology experience.1-3 years of experience in a laboratory setting.1-3 years of experience with Gas Chromatography (GC) and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).Knowledge of GMP/GLP documentation.Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Additional Skills & QualificationsIndustry lab experience is preferred over candidates without lab experience.Troubleshooting experience.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
