Quality Control Lead
The inspectors cover incoming inspections that check quality of incoming material from suppliers and their field support team, and in-process inspections that check dimensions of semi-built products. The person needs to work as not only one inspector but sync up with the team then plan inspections by assigning inspectors for inspection requests and clarifying the timeline, assists team member to follow standard process, contribute tool/equipment maintaining activities, and create monthly report consists of KPI and highlighted topics to the manager.
The position is very important to improve the performance of our production and secure good quality products.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

-Inspect and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests and rejecting & returning unacceptable materials.
-Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating all required adjustments to the production supervisor.
-Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and input data into quality database.
-Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements. Call for repairs when required.
-Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
-Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
-Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
-Reviewing open purchase order and upcoming inspection demand from projects to plan inspection activities.
-Create first article approval report in case of handling a key part first article.
-Create monthly report consists of KPI trend, highlighted topics
-Make a proposal to improve team performance to the manager
-Sharing information of quality performance of suppliers with supplier quality representatives
