Job Summary
This position shall have overall responsibility for the contractor's quality control management program to include maintaining and overseeing the quality control management program for entire contract. The position is located at Portsmouth, VA.
Primary Job Functions
Administer quality control management program Responsible for overall quality assurance program Monitor and inspect all delivery orders for compliance Maintain records of inspections and certifications Prepare monthly reports depicting findings of quality inspections Periodically review the quality control program to ensure compliance Examine processes for preventative and corrective maintenance; make suggestions based on findings Perform inspections and re-inspections to ensure problems have been resolved Collect data for the DMLSS system entry by the Government. Research safety and quality topics online May prepare incident and accident reports May be tasked with preparing training materials and conducting employee quality and/or safety meetings May manage the disposal of hazardous waste May research and issue infection control and interim Life Safety permits May train personnel on material control and equipment and tool management Other duties as assignedEducation, Experience and Certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and PPE procedures Ability to conduct accident investigations and safety inspections Strong written and oral communication skills Extensive knowledge of 3-Phases of Control (Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up). Ability to maintain, update, and work in RMS is required. Knowledge of Procore and Bluebeam is preferred. Ability to work in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint, Outlook, and Powerpoint) is required. Knowledge of RFID control and planning on equipment for Government record keeping purposes.Travel Requirements
