Salary Range: $86,640 - $95,760
**Position Qualifications:**
+ A 4-year degree in civil or structural engineering, architecture or construction management, or similar experience in a related position.
+ Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience on large commercial construction projects.
+ Valid Driver’s License.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Computer software - Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel based templates, Prolog, Primavera and AutoCAD.

**Essential Duties:**
+ Participate in the start-up and implementation of the six-step quality control/safety process. This includes the start-up and implementation of the site-specific quality program to include the quality control plan, quality process log, test register and quality point files. Lead the weekly QC meetings.
+ Assist with the development of the preparatory meeting agendas and participate in the preparatory meeting prior to the start of each definable feature of work. Review and maintain the project quality process log (QPL).
+ Interface directly with owner's quality assurance and management on all quality-related issues.
+ Review initial and follow-up inspection reports, punch list items and close-in inspection results.
+ Be fully aware of the contract, plans, specifications and applicable codes. Submit and review RFIs to ensure changes are implemented in the field.
+ Receive trade partner test and inspection requests and produce a coordinated test and inspection schedule.
+ Document and submit a daily report of quality control activity.
+ Audit trade partner quality control procedures. Report chronic problems with trade partner work or quality control programs to upper management.
Traditional Project Commissioning
+ Understand scope of work in depth (Construction Packages, RFIs and Submittals)
+ Support Commissioning Superintendent scheduling efforts (progress and logic updates)
+ Monitor Commissioning Documents and assist team with managing document completion
+ Manage invites for Commissioning Activities
+ Manage Trade Partner Commissioning Meetings
+ Attend Commissioning Agent (contracted through the AE) Commissioning Meetings
+ Track and manage Commissioning Issues Log item resolution (via AE's Commissioning Agent's software)
+ Coordinate/Monitor/Witness all startup activities
+ Monitor/Witness FPT & TAB Verification Activities (minimum 50% of them)
+ Shut Down Requests (SDRs) and Contractor's Method of Procedure (CMOPs) to support the above
+ _Traditional Commissioning Systems Include_ :
+ Direct Digital Controls (DDC)
+ Overcurrent Protective Device Coordination Study
+ Lighting Control
+ Electrical Metering/Power Monitoring

_Special Systems Support Requirements:_
+ Verify DEN Special Systems design integration
+ Attend and contribute to DEN Special Systems Meetings
+ Know status of office and field activities
+ Understand how all DEN Special Systems work
+ Understand lines of demarcation between DEN tasks and Contractor tasks - Special Systems Matrix
+ Verify design of Special Systems. Work with PEs/OEs to write RFIs to correct design/scope
+ Shut Down Requests (SDRs) and Contractor's Method of Procedure (CMOPs) to support the above

**Position Descriptions:**
The Quality Control Manager (QCM) is responsible for implementing and managing the QC program in collaboration with the project superintendent. They will typically coordinate the activities of multiple QC engineers on one or more projects. The QC manager will work closely with the PM and PS to resolve QC issues to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. This individual will also participate in regional efforts to promote quality control.
