Responsibilities About the Role: Quality Control Leader As a Quality Control Leader, you’ll ensure that our plant adheres to quality protocols, leading a team to deliver the highest quality products. In this role, you’ll work with production, maintenance, and warehouse teams to establish sustainable practices, foster continuous improvement, and lead quality initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead Quality Teams: Guide salaried quality professionals and technicians in implementing effective quality management practices. Operational Excellence: Drive process improvements and cost management initiatives, achieving productivity gains and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Continuous Improvement: Lead the plant’s QC Pillar through the Continuous Improvement journey, working with production, engineering, and QA to elevate product specifications and sampling programs. Data-Driven Quality Management: Utilize statistical analysis to verify improvements, manage non-conforming products, and implement long-term solutions. Compliance & Safety Leadership: Conduct food safety and compliance audits (FSSC 22000, AIB, QAS) and ensure adherence to internal and external sanitation and safety standards. Training and Development: Train teams in food science, regulatory requirements, and quality measurement systems, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Qualifications Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field. Preferably 5+ years in the Food/Beverage industry, with a solid understanding of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and AIB standards. Lean Six Sigma and Project Management experience preferred. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications, with effective coaching, facilitation, and presentation skills. Valid driver’s license and U.S. work authorization.
