Quality Control Manager

Job Posting Summary:
Responsible for overseeing onsite quality control and safety for Federal Construction projects, including historical renovations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality assurance protocols.

Job Requirements:

Graduate of an Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management degree program Minimum 10 years of experience in a construction role, with 5 years in a QC role on complex commercial or federal projects Recent experience with USACE and/or NAVFAC construction projects and processes (preferred) Must have or be able to obtain USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification within 90 days of hire (highly desired) OSHA 30 certification (preferred) and CPR training or USACE EM 385-1 certification Experience reading and understanding construction drawings, Federal specifications, and project schedules Intermediate proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to pass a background check for project site access Strong computer skills for using spreadsheets, sending pictures, and document management

Preferred Skills:

Previous experience as a Construction Site Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, and SSHO on medium to highly complex Federal or Public construction projects Demonstrated success in Quality Control and Site Safety and Health processes Familiarity with project schedule critical path activities, quality control requirements, and safety standards

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee daily quality control and safety operations for Federal Construction projects Serve as the onsite Construction Quality Control (CQC) representative Supervise, inspect, and ensure seamless daily schedules and operations on-site Coordinate site access and project schedules with subcontractors and stakeholders Schedule and manage subcontractors, setting expectations and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards Provide direct accountability for contract submittals, processes, and documentation Ensure a safe work environment by following and enforcing OSHA safety standards Identify hazards and maintain consistent safety compliance Establish and maintain project sequences and schedules in line with the Project Site Superintendent's directives Complete and submit all required onsite paperwork and reports

Pay Details: $38.00 to $51.00 per hour
