Quality Control Manager

**Description**
+ Plan, Direct and coordinate AECI Quality Assurance Program at Distribution Centers (DC’s) and Vendor Managed Inventories (VMIs).
+ Collaborate closely with warehouse managers and teams, purchasing teams, logistics, and inventory teams to strengthen quality outcomes and enhance customer service.
+ Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures to minimized product loss and damage. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with safety and security standards all DCs and VMIs.
+ Collaborate with security teams and other departments to address and mitigate risk effectively.
+ Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues by investigating root causes of failure to identify areas of improvement.
+ Document and analyze data to identify areas of improvement and implement procedures to correct.
+ Work with DC and VMI warehouse managers to train and supervise their teams to implement procedures identified as best practices.
+ Prepare and/or interpret information and communicate to Sr. Management and Directors by gathering relevant data and statistical reports.
+ Ensure that our DC and VMI teams are in compliance with company safety procedures.
+ Responsible for process of maintaining safety data sheets in compliance with regulation and storage of hazardous materials stored in our DCs and VMIs.
+ Directs and coordinates annual inventories at our regional DCs and VMIs.
+ Provide regular updates through reports, meetings, or emails. These updates should include progress on projects, performance metrics and any issues that need attention.
+ Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
+ The ability to handle stress, multitask, and work well with others are essential functions of this position.
+ This position requires the ability to travel as needed with an estimated travel commitment of 15%.
+ Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
+ Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.
**Minimum Qualifications**
Minimum of 8 years total experience including at least 5 years management experience, thorough understanding of Quality Control methodologies and tools, experience conducting quality audits and inspections, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Bachelors degree in Quality Management or related field.
