This role involves developing and implementing quality control policies, creating a team of quality inspectors, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.  The salary range starts at $64,200.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management:Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures.Set quality standards and benchmarks for products and processes.Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.Team Leadership:Supervise and train quality control personnel.Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.Provide guidance and support for team development and performance improvement.Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyze quality data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.Prepare and present quality reports to management and stakeholders.Use statistical methods and tools to monitor quality performance.Process Improvement:Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.Implement continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, FDA).Maintain accurate documentation and records related to quality control activities.Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.Customer Focus:Address customer quality concerns and feedback effectively.Work with sales and customer service teams to understand and meet customer expectations.Promote a customer-oriented mindset within the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in manufacturing.Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory standards.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Proven leadership and team management abilities.Proficient in quality inspection tools and software.

Work Environment:

Primarily office and manufacturing environment, with exposure to production areas.May require occasional travel for audits or training sessions.
