Description - Routine micro testing every day (work under sterile hood, spread plate, enrichments, sub-cultures, gram staining, coagulation tests, AI20E, fungi identification (fungal sub cultures and staining to ID), microscope work, gram staining, spread plate, membrane filtration) - Qualilty control of micro supplies/growth promotion - Almost always something that needs growth promoted - Fill out paperwork in SAP and by hand - Go out into factory to do environmental monitoring - Swabbing events- go out to production lines to test for microbial presence - 75% in the lab and 25% on production floor - Openings as a result of changes to how they do procedures – more USP compliant- adding HC to meet these needs - 1st shift, 2nd shift, and weekend shifts functioning now; will have 2 people on 1st, 2 on 2nd so working as part of a small team - They do 5 main tests on all products before released- neutralization scheme and need to fact check each sample against this; NOT all products go through all 5 tests (given on cert of analysis)- also timing of each test is different and can be involved Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00 • Medical, dental & vision• Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital• 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available• Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents)• Short and long-term disability• Health Spending Account (HSA)• Transportation benefits• Employee Assistance Program• Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Saint Louis,MO.
