SUMMARY

BSPS, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Quality Control Manager for the 29 Palms MCAGCC BOS Contract. Individual will oversee and coordinate the planning, implementation, and supervision of the project quality control plan.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.

Ensure that all materials, workmanship, and repairs are in full compliance of the contract, plans, and specifications and all building codes Review and approve all submittals and perform daily inspections of the workPrepare reports, both daily and monthlyMonitor daily progress of projectsReview company quality control and safety planPossess a thorough and working knowledge of the plans and specifications of work performedServe a liaison between contractor and government QAR representativeReview and interpret plans, blue prints, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods to ensure compliance Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

5 years experience in preparing and enforcing QMS programsDOD Contract ExperienceEM385 CertifcationOSHA 30High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

Quality Management knowledge of facility operations and maintenanceGood people skillsProficient computer skills

Preferred

5 years experience working quality management

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Additional outside job walks and inspections required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No supervisory responsibilities.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
