DESCRIPTION:

The individual will work primarily in the Quality Department to support the testing and analysis of cGMP produced viral vectors and cells. This role requires close collaboration with the QC manager and senior QC staff to cultivate and enact strategic direction in the GMP area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform QC methods and develop new methods under the guidance of senior staff.Analyze microbiological environmental monitoring samples.Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Conduct equipment maintenance and monitoring.Manage materials for QC and Production supplies.Perform lab testing, including PCR, qPCR, ddPCR, Gel Electrophoresis, pH measurement, and more.Operate within the Quality Management System applicable to the manufacture of phase-appropriate material in the CMF.Ensure all product samples are adequately labeled and appropriately documented.Maintain accountability for product allocation across sample requirements and storage conditions.Evaluate sample management processes to identify gaps and implement improvements.Ensure documentation is completed, reviewed, filed, and archived according to SOPs.Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements for cellular and gene therapy products.Perform duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and techniques.Work under close supervision of staff and leadership.Collaborate within a diverse team environment utilizing clear communication for high productivity.Document all activities performed accurately.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BS degree in Biology or other science field.6 months or more of industry quality experience.Experience with PCR, Gel Electrophoresis, and other molecular biology techniques.Familiarity with GMP manufacturing and regulatory requirements.Ability to write reports and review documentation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00
