Quality Control Sortex Operator Apply Now Description/Job Summary

Schedule:  12 hour rotating swing shift (4 days 7:00a.m. to 7:00p.m., 4 days off, 4 nights 7:00p.m. to 7:00a.m., 4 nights off), including overtime as needed.

Job Summary:  Responsible for operating sorting system (conveyors, elevators, sorters), ensuring a safe and quality product per specifications, and documentation of operations and food safety.  Collect periodic samples and perform grading as needed to guide process controls.  Operator will also be responsible for directing flow of rice to packaging and loadout bins.  Must be able to perform basic cleaning and maintenance of equipment during downtime.

Basic Qualifications

Must possess basic math skills. (add, subtract, multiply, divide)Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language fluently.Must be able to climb up to 20 feet.Must be able to Lift up to 100 lbs.Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day.Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.Other duties assigned by supervisor.
