Quality Control Specialist (79162-4)

Responsibilities:
· Handle inquiries from Sales team.
· Handle consumer/customer claims.
· Handle inquiries from customer, e.g. Product specifications, facility certifications, and guarantee letters.
· Contact vendors for any investigation upon consumer/customer claim.
· Renew and update spec sheet and Product certification.
· Monitor Federal Food Safety Regulation for the compliance, e.g. FDA, USDA, Seafood HACP and Proposition 65 in California.
· Support Product recall.
· Review and update food safety program.
· Support food safety activities and conduct internal audit.
· Communicate quality control information to relevant organization.
· In-house test for rice quality.
· Other duties as required to support on-going business needs
Skills & Qualifications:
· English language skills – Business fluency
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills – required
· Experience in food industry - preferred
· In-depth knowledge of Asian cuisine
· Knowledge of HACCP – preferred
· Strong analytical skill
· Dependable work ethic
· Ability to work independently and in group settings
· Research skill
· Creative and flexible
· Strong management skills of time and tasks
· Intermediate ~ advanced computer skill of Windows and Microsoft.
