Quality Control Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our PC Building team. This role ensures that all custom-built PCs meet company and industry standards before delivery to customers. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of computer components, assembly, and quality assurance processes, coupled with a passion for delivering exceptional products. This is an hourly, non-exempt position based in California and complies with all applicable state labor laws, including meal and rest breaks and overtime regulations. Job Description: * Inspect and test assembled PCs to ensure functionality, durability, and compliance with technical specifications. * Conduct detailed quality assessments of individual components and final builds. * Document inspection results, including any defects, and communicate findings to the assembly team. * Collaborate with the PC Building team to troubleshoot and resolve issues. * Verify proper installation of software and hardware components. * Adhere to company and safety standards during all testing and handling procedures. * Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects. * Other duties as assigned * High School diploma or GED required, Associate degree in a business related field preferred * Must be 18 years of age or older * Must be available to work occasional nights, holidays and weekends * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Must have strong computer skills, including but not limited to MS Word and Outlook. * Good listening skills * Ability to form partnership with department and gain intimate knowledge of department operations * Detail-oriented, and self-motivated with desire to continuously improve operations * Exhibit strong business curiosity and must be willing to explore details to challenge status quo * Ability to work both independently and with a team in a collaborative work environment * Ability to treat all information confidentially * Adaptable and proactively able to move with the change while maintaining a positive attitude * Experience with computer assembly, troubleshooting, and testing (minimum 1 year). * Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or irregularities. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
