Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Control Superintendent for a GSA project at St. Elizabeth's involving a full demolition and rebuild. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of managing and performing quality activities for construction projects in the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana areas. This position requires obtaining a GSA badge.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare, implement, and maintain a quality plan for the construction manager that follows FTA and client requirements.Maintain relationships with clients, subconsultants, contractors, and stakeholders to support project partnering and issue resolution, including processing nonconformance reports.Coordinate initial project quality training and partnering efforts for the construction manager.Routinely audit projects for contractual and governing authority compliance, seeking continuous improvement and providing feedback to executive management and the client.Prepare reports on adherence to the project quality program.Support and supplement the client’s quality management system.Review and provide recommendations on the contractor’s quality plan, testing and inspection plan, and quality audit reports for acceptance by the client.Investigate and document quality issues independently as directed by management.Attend quality review meetings with the client and construction manager.Essential SkillsFederal construction experience.Experience overseeing construction and MEP inspectors.High understanding of MEP construction and renovations.Quality control expertise in MEP.Additional Skills & Qualifications10+ years of federal construction experience.Work Environment
This position is onsite at St. Elizabeth's. The work environment involves a dynamic construction site with regular quality audits and compliance checks. It is essential to maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $108000.00 - $115000.00
