The Quality Control Supervisor for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for management and technical support for the Incoming Inspection and Manufacturing QC departments. This position is part of the Quality Group located in Chaska, Minnesota and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time. You will be a part of the Quality Team and report to the Sr. Quality Assurance Manager responsible for people leadership of Quality Control Technicians. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Engage and develop talent of the team by training, coaching and modeling behaviors. + Identify and communicate problems that might affect the quality of integrity of the product and work to resolve issues. + Resolve routine but technically complex problems using defined processes and coordinates resources to meet short-term objectives The essential requirements of the job include: + Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years, or relevant job experience. Field of Science or Engineering preferred. + Direct experience working in a Quality role or testing lab strongly preferred FDA regulated environment experience. + Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to manage team by influence. + Knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing and statistics. + Fundamental knowledge of medical industry practices. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Direct supervision of associates. + FDA, QSR/cGMP, and ISO 13485 standards and regulations This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
