The Home & Garden business unit of Spectrum Brands is based in St. Louis, Missouri with distribution, manufacturing and sales offices throughout the US and globe. Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and Manage Quality Control Team:

Supervise, train, and mentor a team of quality inspectors Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback

 

Implement and Maintain Quality Control Procedures:

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control plans and procedures Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards

 

Ensure Product Quality:

Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods Monitor production lines to identify potential quality issues

 

Continuous Improvement:

Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency

 

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies Maintain a safe and clean work environment

 

Education and Experience Profile Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Engineering) preferred Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques Familiarity with safety protocols in a manufacturing environment Experience in the chemical industry, particularly home and garden chemicals, is preferred

 

Required Skills 3-5 years of experience in a quality control role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the home and garden industry Proven experience leading and managing a team Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools
