Under close supervision, responsible for technical quality tasks, including inspecting and processing raw materials and reviewing and releasing finished products. Perform Batch Record Review and manufactured product release processing. Observe cGMP good documentation practices.
This position reports into the QC Supervisor and will be located at our Bakersfield, CA location. This is for a 1st shift position (6AM to 2:30PM).
What we’re looking for:
Education: BA/BS in science-related field preferred, or 2 college level general chemistry courses and 1 year of laboratory experience.Experience: Familiar with lab equipment operation and set-up. Experience working with chemicals and chemical reactions helpful.Computer literate (WORD/EXCEL).Who you are:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to work in metrics.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. Will be required to pass pulmonary function test in order to wear respirator. The employee frequently is required to sit for prolonged periods. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move a minimum of 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.How you will thrive and create an impact:

Pay Transparency:
The expected pre-tax pay for this position is
$36,000.00 - $60,000.00Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
