Heidelberg Materials is seeking a responsible, safe, and dependable Quality Control Technician to join our local team. As a QC Technician you will be responsible for concrete sampling and testing on customer job sites and in the lab.

What We Are Looking ForHigh school diplomaDiploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field is an assetExperience working with ready mix concrete or related construction materials is an assetACI/CCIL Concrete Field Testing Certificate would be an assetKnowledge of CSA standards related to ready mix concreteIntermediate Excel skills and computer proficiencyDesire to work cooperatively as part of a productive teamAbility to work safely, and independently without constant supervisionAble to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditionsIn good physical condition, able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods of time, kneel, climb ladders, and walk on varied terrainAbility to work a flexible work schedule including different shifts and overtime when needed
