Quality Control Technician
Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Job Description

Performs Quality Control assays for product release of cell therapy products and Stability Studies. Maintains data and follows cGMP regulations, including writing deviations and other Quality documentation. The skill set includes (but is not limited to) working knowledge of Immunofluorescence, Sample Handling, and Flow Cytometry.

ResponsibilitiesPerform Quality Control (QC) biological/cell-based testing of Cell Therapy release and stability samples during the 3rd shift.Conduct typical test methods including flow cytometry-based assays, proliferation, ELISA, cell counts (manual and automated), and immunofluorescence microscopy/spectroscopy assays.Actively participate in the support of Cell Therapy technology transfer activities and validation of analytical methods.Train on new methodology, set up new equipment, generate method standard operating procedures (SOPs), and execute validation protocols.Perform general lab and equipment maintenance duties.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsQuality control experienceLaboratory experienceBachelor's Degree in a Scientific DisciplineWorking knowledge of ImmunofluorescenceSample HandlingFlow CytometryAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with proliferation, ELISA, cell counts (manual and automated), and immunofluorescence microscopy/spectroscopy assays.Ability to follow cGMP regulationsExperience in writing deviations and other Quality documentation.Work Environment

Shift Model: 2-2-3 Panama. Shift Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Training on 1st shift 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM for the first 6 weeks.
