Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Job Title:** Quality Control Technician
**Location:** Mebane, North Carolina
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform routine visual inspections and specified tests on raw materials, goods in process, and finished products.
+ Test, inspect, and approve raw materials based on established quality specifications.
+ Identify faults in materials and manufacturing process through observation and testing.
+ Use statistical methods to test product samples and evaluate the quality of finished products prior to delivery.
+ Compare inspection and test results to company quality standard and report findings to the supervisor for final analysis and action.
**What's Needed?**
+ Thorough understanding of the product and/or process being inspected.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed for report completion.
+ PPAP and auditing experience preferred.
