Start your new career as a Quality Control Technician with MAU at our client in Conyers, GA. The Quality Control Technician inspects raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to identify defects or deviations from standards.
What We Offer Pay of $17.30 - $18.30 depending on the shift Multiple Shifts Available 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Night Shift) on a 2/2/3 rotating schedule 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Day Shift) on a 2/2/3 rotating schedule Health benefits, including telehealth medical services Opportunity for advancement What We’re Looking For High School Diploma or GED (required) Associate degree in a related field (preferred) 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with plastics, colorants, and prior quality control experience (preferred) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Valid Driver’s License Basic Computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint) What You’ll Do as a Quality Control Technician Adheres to all plant and company safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment Conducts thorough walkthroughs to identify improvement opportunities Monitors and manages nonconforming products, promptly reporting anomalies Collaborates with line operators and management to resolve specification deviations Identifies, logs, and documents product defects in designated systems Prepares, tests, and evaluates samples using appropriate testing equipment Records and compares test results against established standards Maintains accurate quality inspection records and databases (Excel, Word, SharePoint) Ensures calibrated devices are validated and assists with recalibration as needed Conducts incoming inspections and gathers trial data as directed Assists in corrective and preventive action investigations Trains plant staff on quality procedures and work instructions Maintains a clean, organized work area free of safety hazards Consistently meets production standards and seeks process improvements Performs other duties as assigned
