Quality Control Technician

Overview:

Our client is a global supplier of commodity and engineering resins seeking a Quality Control Technician in Chesapeake, VA to support continued growth. They offer cost effective, high quality material options to the plastics industry with the highest level of quality, service, and efficiency. The QC Technician will work with the Quality group to monitor the production and release of products, development of products, and support production and warehouse operations. The successful candidate should be self-motivated with experience in a lab and production environment. 

Description:

Routine Quality Control monitoring and testing.Completion of quality production records.Pulling material samples and managing the shipment process.Inventory control support.Material labeling.QA test data entry through our ERP system.Assisting with production change over.Assisting with regulatory documents.Assisting with validation and investigation testing.Quality sign off on transload processes.Weekly equipment checks.Assisting with equipment internal calibrations.

Qualifications:

Lab experience.Good judgment and diplomacy.Very strong computer skills.Excellent oral and written communication and attention to detail.Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills a must.Independent self-starter.Preferred Experience with Quality Control.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00
