Our client, a premier manufacturer of advanced automotive braking systems, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting the manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Quality Control Technician
**Location:** Lebanon, OH
**Pay Range:** $17 - $22
**What's the Job?**
+ Conduct thorough inspections and testing of various tools, gauges, fixtures, and components to ensure product quality.
+ Utilize precision measuring devices and instruments for meticulous checking and adjustment of tools and gauges.
+ Program and operate the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to inspect components and ensure adherence to quality standards.
+ Record test data accurately and prepare detailed reports on test outcomes for management review.
+ Provide training to new and existing team members on inspection techniques and quality standards.
**What's Needed?**
+ Associate degree from an accredited technical college or equivalent; or a combination of education and experience.
+ 3 to 5 years of experience in CMM programming, preferably with Mitutoyo CMM’s & MCOSMOS.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiar with General Dimension & Tolerance.
+ Strong mathematical skills and the ability to interpret technical documents.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
