Quality Control Technician
**Job Title: Quality Control** Pay: $20.75/hr Shift: 1:30PM - 10PM Monday - Friday **After 6 weeks shift changes to Sunday - Thursday Sunday: 8AM - 4:30PM Monday - Thursday: 1:30PM - 10PM **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented quality control personnel to join our team at our West Sacramento, CA location. This role involves handling HIPAA sensitive information, performing prescription packaging, and ensuring accurate inventory management. **Responsibilities** + Perform prescription packaging, handling HIPAA sensitive information and medication details. + Utilize handheld scanners to sort prescriptions by scanning the shipping label barcode and confirming the accurate location by scanning the location bin barcode. + Conduct audits for closed bins by performing a physical count and comparing it with the tote manifest systematic count; communicate discrepancies to management. + Read and analyze application screens and pop-up windows to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and standard operating procedures. + Perform chain of custody audits, recording total bins created in the system by location for a production day, and ensuring the total tote system count matches the physical count. + Restock workstations with daily supplies and perform basic cleaning tasks such as taking out the trash, wiping down surfaces, and sweeping. + Perform proof of delivery by duplicating and recording shipping label numbers to a physical receipt and verifying and signing off on the proof of delivery to ensure accuracy. **Essential Skills** + High School Degree or equivalent experience + One year of experience in a warehouse, retail, or customer service setting + Basic computer skills + Effective communication in a team environment + Knowledge of federal and state HIPAA laws + Ability to follow oral instructions + Capability to perform continuous and repetitive work under stress + Ability to make judgments and decisions + Flexibility to switch between various tasks without loss of efficiency or composure + Basic mathematical skills + Experience operating a pallet jack, hand truck/dolly, and scanning units **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook) + 1+ years of warehouse experience or equivalent + Audit, cycle count, and reporting experience + General labor skills + Administrative skills for shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials + Ability to identify and report missing, lost, or damaged materials **Why Work Here?** We offer a clean work environment with opportunities for upward mobility. You will occasionally handle environmentally hazardous medications and work in refrigerated conditions (5%-7% of the time). Physical requirements include lifting and carrying 10 to 20 lbs, stooping, kneeling, reaching overhead, and using ladders. Continuous standing, walking, reading, hearing, and reaching at table height are essential. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr.
